Weekly timesheet

The whole week on one screen

A project-by-day grid, editable right in the cell, with the total always in view.

The timesheet is where the week gets reviewed and corrected before it becomes a report. Each cell is the sum of one project's hours on one day, editable in place, with daily and weekly totals calculated as you type.

Client, project and task

Every hour is tied to a project — because an hour with no project can't answer what the client cost. The task is optional, for when a project needs one more level of detail.

Tags for what doesn't fit the hierarchy

Rework, internal meetings, out-of-scope hand-holding: use free-form tags for the categories that cut across several clients and projects, then filter by them in the report.

Billable and non-billable, kept apart

Every entry is marked billable or not, with a default you set per project. Reports treat the two separately — and that split is what reveals how much of your time never becomes revenue.

Fixing things without ceremony

Editing an old entry is part of the flow. It only stops once the period is approved — and then the lock applies to everyone, administrators included.

In practice this means

  • Weekly project-by-day grid, editable in the cell
  • Daily and weekly totals calculated as you type
  • Client, project and optional task, with free-form tags
  • Billable or non-billable per entry
  • A billable default you set per project
  • Retroactive corrections while the period is open
